Biggie training

There will be a two round search for biggies for this summer 2025 International Confirmation camps. In the first search from 31.1.-23.2.25, biggies, who have participated in a biggie training and who have attended their own Confirmation camp in 2023 or earlier, can apply. There are 10 places per camp, and half of the places will be filled in the first round.

A call for camp assistants is open at the same time. Applications for camp assistants are open to youth aged 18 or over by the start of the camp, who have been participating in a biggie training and who have been a biggie several times in the past. We select two camp assistants per camp. The camp assistants will be paid a €350 fee. If you are applying to be both a camp assistant and a biggie, just fill in the camp assistant application form, which also asks if you are willing to apply to be a biggie using the same form.

The LNK and the Felm offer biggies and camp assistants of International Confirmation camps 10 days’ accommodation and food free of charge. Up to 80% of the domestic travel expenses by public transport to and from Päiväkumpu can be reimbursed on the basis of applications for reimbursement submitted after the camp.

The biggie and camp assistant applicants in the first round will be informed of selections during week 9.

The second round of applications will be open from 3 to 23 March 25, when all who have taken part in the biggie activities and who wish to become biggie can apply. Those who applied to be a biggie in the first round but were not selected will automatically be considered for the second round. The remaining selections will be announced during week 13.

You can apply to be a biggie and camp assistant for the International Confirmation camps even if you have not attended a LNK and Felm Confirmation camps or have never been involved in our activities before. New, motivated biggies and camp assistants for International Confirmation camps are always welcome and we have some brave newcomers every year!
